Abstract Exploration of Fragmented Relationships in a Work that Embodies Themes such as Obsession, Loss, Alienation, the Breakdown of Formal ideas and the Manipulation of Control through Sexuality
by Allan Miller

I didn't expect such a powerful spectacle of acrobatic dance to examine so fully the tension between control and freedom in pure movement. Nor did I expect the contemporary edge of the choreographer's movement language to be complimented by the driving asymmetric rhythms of an electro-acoustic ensemble. Or that midway through an intense performance of hybrid dance, describing anti-conformity within the straightjackets of social norms, there would be a meat raffle. Steak, pork chops, black pudding, sausages, ham, and a choreographically-challenging ballet with a post-modern edge. It doesn't get better than that. Five stars! *****
